Resumen
The research project presented below aims to design a routing model to optimize the oil palm fruit harvesting process for small producers in the department of Casanare by reducing execution times. It is based on the fact that established routes in small plantations are usually determined experimentally and that harvested oil palm fruit bunches must be collected as quickly as possible in order to improve properties such as weight and acidity, allowing farmers to achieve a higher income from the product sold to the processing plants responsible for the transformation of this raw material. The project is proposed to be addressed through the following three phases: Research design, Pilot case application at the Agroinversiones PAMARA plantation located in the municipality of Villanueva Casanare, and finally, decision-making based on the analysis of the results obtained.
