Conservación de líquenes en condiciones ex situ: una propuesta de creación de la colección viva de líquenes del Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis

Resumen
The purpose of this work was to promote the conservation and knowledge of the lichenica biodiversity of Cundinamarca (Colombia), elaborating a proposal for the creation of the Living Lichens Collection of the Botanical Garden of Bogotá José Celestino Mutis (JBB), which guarantees the representation of the lichen species predominant in high Andean and páramo forests, strengthening the ex situ conservation processes carried out by the JBB. Initially it was done a diagnosis of the lichen species that could be part of the living collection, an enrichment plan was executed in which 105 lichen samples were studied in the JBB, collected in the Encenillo Nature Reserve, the Guasca páramo and the páramo the Tablazo; The phytosanitary status of the specimens established in the JBB was monitored during the period Sep-Dec 2017. The results obtained allowed to evaluate the implementation of the established lichen species, to build the proposal for the creation of the living lichen collection that includes the description of different activities such as collection, establishment, maintenance protocol and monitoring at the JBB facilities.
