Resumen
The present work was carried out within the framework of the internship modality as a degree project in the line of training of the Educational and Cultural Subdirectorate of the Botanical Garden of Bogota Jose Celestino Mutis (JBBJCM). The bees, being insects very common and known by all, represent part of the biodiversity for which each one we depend on human beings to survive; carry out a fundamental process for ecosystems, pollination, which is important and essential for reproduction and production of crops and many plants. In recent decades, bees and other pollinators have been seriously affected, considerably reducing their number of populations due to habitat loss, climate change, practices intensive agriculture among others. Taking into account the above, it is necessary and important the design and implementation of teaching strategies oriented to the characteristics, importance and dangers that bees face in order to promote and ncourage their care and conservation by these important pollinators. Of here the environmental experience "Our friends the bees" was generated, in which integrate the main axes of the JBBJCM training line for the design and implementation of a short course focused on bees and their different characteristics biological, behavioral, ecological and conservation. The course was implemented with visiting population of the JBBJCM participating in the diploma courses in agriculture and urban gardening.
