Abstract

This project aimed to realize the cost structure for the new industrial packaging manufacturing plant located in Zona Franca Cartagena, a subsidiary of Multidimensionales S.A. This is done as a final project of undergraduate work in the business internship modality, a requirement to obtain the degree of Production Engineering from the Francisco José de Caldas District University.Phoenix Packaging Caribe SAS is a company dedicated to the design, manufacture and commercialization of primary industrial packaging for the industry and disposable products of mass consumption aimed at the food sector, wanting to expand its branches and production processes saw the need to install a new manufacturing plant In the Cartagena Free Zone, for this reason it was essential to have a cost system that would allow us to know in an accurate way the costs of producing a certain product, for this the diagnosis of the new plant had to be developed to establish the necessary tools In order to implement the cost structure, the DOFA matrix was developed as a prior assessment method, the relevant cost system was selected; To analyze the progress of this new plant, it was necessary to directly observe the different production processes, analyze and standardize the creation of the entire cost structure in the enterprise resource planning system.
