Abstract

This pre-feasibility study aims to analyze the viability of creating a company specialized in the implementation of wastewater treatment systems for establishments dedicated to food preparation and on-site consumption in Bogotá. The research begins with a diagnosis of the problems associated with the improper discharge of contaminated water and the low compliance with current environmental regulations by these establishments. Based on this, technical and strategic alternatives are identified and evaluated to mitigate environmental impact, improve regulatory compliance, and promote sustainable practices in the gastronomic sector. The study considers criteria of technical effectiveness, cost-benefit analysis, sustainability, and applicability in the local context to propose a comprehensive, adaptable, and environmentally responsible solution.
