Resumen
This research study aims to analyze the construction and articulation of social representations in terms of genre, race, and social strata with eight graders at the Colegio Técnico Benjamín Herrera IED. To reach this objective, it was necessary to develop some workshops, interviews, and observations which allowed to characterize the population and at the same time to identify the social representations categorized in terms of genre, race and social strata; the results of the analysis and reflection of data collected, allowed a pedagogical intervention pursuing a deliberation about genre, race and social strata. This research study reiterate the significance on working about the social representations identification, questioning, and reflection processes in the school, because these elements grant an accurate lecture about the actuality, moreover, these processes guide the action and the social representations and the cohabitation in different scenarios, including the scholar one. Furthermore, it was needed to work on the intersectionality as an analysis tool in school settings, however, as this was, partially, a new category, there were some problems thus this research study is erecting as an invitation to retake this tool and implement it on different scenarios, likewise, nourish it.
