Resumen
This research addresses the issue of healthy lifestyle habits in early childhood as a strategy between the school and parents to improve the cognitive, physical and affective development of preschool children at the Colegio República de China. The objective was to design and implement a pedagogical intervention proposal with the families of a group of early childhood children, which allows the appropriation of healthy life habits. And established as categories culture and childhood, family and childhood, cognitive development and humanized upbringing. The methodology used was a descriptive qualitative design with a Participatory Action Research (P.A.R.) approach and the collection instruments were surveys, interviews, workshops, dialogue of knowledge and talks with specialists. The results obtained show that the love, patience and example of adults make it easier to educate or teach healthy lifestyle habits in a better way. Likewise, it is essential to have quality time to share, teach and practice these activities with children on a daily basis. Finally, the relationship between health and wellness in healthy food, good sleep, body grooming and exercise is fundamental to learn and develop better.
