Abstract

Currently there are 1,117 real estate properties of national cultural interest in the country with different characteristics. In the capital district, 6,478 declared properties are inventoried, not counting the properties with municipal declaration of which there is still no record. From this inventory, the movable BIC without structural reinforcement intervention, which correspond to both public and private buildings, have a structural vulnerability that puts human life and the heritage values ​​of the BIC at risk; Faced with this risk, consulting, comprehensive intervention and restoration processes continue in the country, which are developed from the knowledge and expertise of professionals who operate in this field. On the other hand, for the analysis and design of the structural reinforcement of heritage buildings, currently there are no regulations clearly applicable to this type of interventions, except for one- and two-story heritage buildings built in adobe and rammed earth, which are standardized. through AIS 610 EP-17 and based on its application the proposal of the Structural Technical Intervention Guide in the Consulting Phase for this same type of projects is based.
