Resumen
This internship report documents the experience of supporting and participating in the teaching of social sciences at Colegio República de Colombia I.E.D. The internship took place between March and October 2024 with students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, addressing topics related to cultural heritage through history and geography. Innovative pedagogical strategies were implemented, such as using food as a central theme for learning, educational games, and field trips. The internship revealed tensions between traditional teaching methods and innovative approaches, highlighting the need to create reflective spaces within the classroom. Through dynamic activities, student participation was encouraged, and heritage education was promoted from an interdisciplinary perspective. The report concludes that innovation and adaptation to students' interests are key to enhancing the teaching-learning process in social sciences.
