Resumen
In this work I was proposed to make a reconstruction of the life and musical works of violinist and funzan composer Víctor Julio Churuguaco Camacho (1916-1990), based on oral and written testimonies, describing his compositional work as complete and detailed as possible. The transcription in score was made of a total of six pieces within his musical production, which was later analyzed and compared with mainly phonographic sources. Likewise, an account was made of the local context linked to their musical practice, resulting in the finding of a total of six varied groups, each documented in detail. The consultation of recorded sources found during the investigation allowed to know some of the most relevant pieces within the practice of Churuguaco and their musical ensembles, so finally an interpretive analysis of five of these was performed, relating them and comparing them with primary sources.
