Resumen
This degree work shows the development of a diagnosis of the level of maturity of good practices in project management in a medium-sized Colombian company, in the process of growth, with more than 10 years of experience dedicated to construction, auditing and consulting of infrastructure projects nationwide, the foregoing through the use of two maturity models such as OPM3, which performs an analysis in relation to the company's organizational enablers and the evaluation of the 49 PMBOK project management processes from the Cobit methodology. With this, it was possible to establish the current level of maturity in project management of the company, in order to identify critical points and opportunities to improve the planning, execution and control processes of each of the projects, to comply with the triple restriction in scope, time and cost, thus avoiding possible delays, cost overruns or non-compliance in the projects to be developed by the company. Finally, based on the results obtained and through the implementation of the knowledge acquired throughout the specialization, an improvement proposal was generated that seeks to establish a methodology for project management in the company that allows the increase in profits and the competitiveness of the company.
