Resumen
This report analyzes drinking water supply systems in the Santa Fe and Chapinero localities of Bogotá, focusing on differential supply schemes. The research was conducted as part of an internship at the District Health Secretariat to assess regulatory applicability and propose improvements in water quality and management in these rural communities. Through regulatory review, field visits, and data analysis, various challenges in water provision were identified, including infrastructure limitations, water quality concerns, and regulatory issues for community-based systems. Technical recommendations were made to enhance these schemes' operations, emphasizing the need for formalization to ensure equitable and safe access to drinking water in the studied areas.
