Resumen
The company KARMEN FOODS S.A.S is dedicated to the design, manufacturing and marketing of frozen pre-fried breaded products, frozen raw products, among other references, distributed through three channels.
The company has the implementation and certification of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system with the purpose of ensuring the safety of its products from the reception of raw materials to their distribution as a finished product. Likewise, it currently has the implementation of the NTC ISO 9001:2000, however, gaps are evident in the support and maintenance of the QMS, in terms of management and control documentation for the standardization of the different processes, thus generating PQR's, reprocessing, non-conforming product and inconsistencies in traceability.
Due to the above, unwanted costs, longer operation times and non-compliance with production schedules have been evident, affecting product availability at points of sale and Kokoriko restaurants.
