De la Hipótesis Adiabática a la Fase de Berry

Abstract

The present work finds a connection between the adiabatic hypothesis proposed by Ehrenfest and the development of the primitive quantum mechanics, giving meaning to considerations made for the validity of the theory. It also has a relation with the adiabatic theorem of Born, which describes quantum systems in which the parameters that describe the system environment change slowly, until a description of a particular effect, called the Berry phase or geometric phase, is reached. We propose the invariance of this phase in the study of parametric spaces.
