Abstract

The present work determines the need for the development of innovative products that meet the needs of the population with disabilities, for which the design of two smart sticks based on the use of sensors and an electronic control system is proposed. The document begins by indicating the history of the problem situation and the diagnosis of the target population as the basis for conducting the market study that allows defining the qualitative and quantitative demand for the project; Based on the characteristics of the demand, a technical study is carried out that generates the design of the two smart sticks, as well as the design of the production process, the required technology and the sizing of the plant. The financial viability of the project in different scenarios is evaluated through a financial analysis
