La ciencia en la radio

Abstract

Science on the radio is an Investigative-Creative project of a media nature, which finds its main purpose in the scientific dissemination, through university radio, and together with the implementation of different communication tools, helps to build a scientific culture in our current context. Today, the science plays an important role in the progress of society when talking about socioeconomic level, therefore, there is a great need for scientific dissemination, which, on one hand, manages to account for the importance of science, technology and the education; and, on the other hand, encourages the progress of an entire country. However, in our society, there are not many scientific dissemination’s channels, which brings with it a lack of interest and ignorance of science itself. Given the above, it was decided to carry out a work under the established parameters of Research-Creation focused on the realization of a radio program of science, technology and education, generating audiovisual content, and allowing citizens a better understanding of the topics in question. This is where the program "Con-ciencia" arose, as a radio space of the Master of Communication - Education, broadcast every Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm, by the LAUD ESTÉREO radio station, fan page and the different social networks like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube; visualizing itself as a forger of scientific and critical thought, which, through its contents and implementation of different dynamics, will impact certain contexts within the social, educational and scientific spheres.
