La noción de calidad en la educación : una discusión desde la configuración de la política pública

Resumen
Education is a transversal axis of which various levels have to go into life in society, from there they aim to organize, direct, suggest and implement, while justifying a policy in favor of education in relation to quality; polysemic word that has a way of circulating and operating within the educational system and whose setting for its deployment is the school. The word quality and now more, quality in education has become a social phenomenon that allows education to intervene from a policy that is promoted and promulgated by the Multilateral Organizations through a series of educational reforms; changes that are assumed to be implemented by the Colombian State, whose measurement instrument is evaluation; transversal axis that allows to determine if there is quality or not. The notion of quality in education requires criteria and factors that have been institutionalized since 1994 when the idea of quality of the productive sector is introduced to the educational sector so that it can operate and, effect of this, are official speeches and documents from the international as well as the national level; a socially accepted discourse that justifies not only a policy but a practice within the school that must develop competitiveness in relation to productivity. Finally, there is an interest in analyzing how the notion of quality in education is interpreted, assumed, understood and implemented, as well as the conception of education has been configured through documentary analysis in relation to the consolidation of public policy. ,
