Abstract

This document describes the implementation of a maintenance plan based on reliability for the fleet of buses of an operating company of Transmilenio called Operating Systems Mobile US K S.A., through the analysis of oil samples in the sets of engine and transmission arises. Initially the problems arise as to the shortcomings of the company in the process of maintenance and continuous failures on older buses in the fleet, then the procedure for taking samples, the submission process is exposed, and results of the different tests. With the help of this historic result, it is possible to determine the causes of the various failures, and thus generate a plan of action to ensure the reliability of the bus fleet, and the measures to be taken when it presents a fault.
