Resumen
This text presents a study titled "Characterization of the Academic Management of the Primary Education Curriculum at Colegio Federico García Lorca I.E.D." It analyzes the academic management in accordance with the institutional dynamics of the school in question. The study aims to ensure that the educational context aligns with the proposal of the Institutional Educational Project (hereinafter PEI), focusing on the curriculum, study plans, and pedagogical practices that emphasize reflection, the role of the teacher, and constructive critique within the educational community. The central theme is "Values as the Axis of Human Development," with the goal of enhancing students' holistic development and fostering a balanced relationship between teachers and students. The study includes a theoretical framework covering concepts of academic management, curriculum, and pedagogical practices. It employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing interviews and focus groups. The identified issues relate to overall academic management, community participation, and the continuous professional development of teachers. Ultimately, the conclusions highlight the importance of a flexible curriculum, the integration of institutional values into teaching, and active participation by educational actors, all of which contribute to creating a meaningful and transformative learning environment for a solid ethical and political project.
