Abstract

This report presents an analysis of the internship carried out within the framework of the Tutoring Programme for Learning and Integral Education PTAFI 3.0 of the MEN, at the Educational Institution Centro de Integración Popular, Doce de Octubre in Riohacha, Guajira. It explores how the programme, which seeks to strengthen basic skills and promote comprehensive education, has been adopted in a specific context marked by social vulnerability and lack of resources. The pedagogical proposal developed focuses on the concept of ‘Centres of Interest’ and is based on Art Education, the theory of meaningful learning, constructivism and project pedagogy. It also shows how, through practices linked to the territory, cognitive, socio-emotional and creative skills were fostered, and social awareness and care for the environment were promoted.
