Asigna Qupos- Asignación de Cupos Escolares a Partir del Análisis de Proximidad al Lugar de Residencia del Estudiante

Abstract

The objective of this article is to describe the design and implementation of a plugin for QGIS tool that pretend to make the allocation of school places in the district educational institutions of the locality of Barrios Unidos in Bogota, taking in account the proximity of the school to residence of the student. For the implementation of plugin was used software development model iterative that consist the following stages: Analysis, design, coding and testing. Taking into account the analysis and the requests made, the plugin was developed, being the product that was obtained a vertical low-fidelity prototype, which proposes to solve the problem of proximity of students to the official educational institutions, facilitating the management of school places of district schools in the Bogota city.
