Resumen
The internship is conceived as a form of degree work that allows academic training to be articulated with practice in real-world settings. For this project, an internship was carried out at Colegio Técnico José Félix Restrepo IED with evening students, aiming to contribute to the strengthening of their competencies in fundamental areas and to support their educational processes in a particular context, characterized by a diversity of ages and life experiences. The proposal sought to integrate the teaching of physics and mathematics with academic and formative support activities, offering spaces where students could grasp essential concepts, solve problems in an applied manner, and engage in practical exercises that facilitated knowledge appropriation. The classes were designed to foster participation, collaborative work, and critical reflection, while complementary support activities promoted integration, continuity in learning, and a sense of belonging to the institution. As a result, there was an observable increase in motivation for studying, greater confidence in facing academic challenges, and a strengthening of transversal skills such as perseverance, autonomy, and teamwork. Altogether, the experience showed that through active methodologies adapted to the characteristics of youth and adult education in evening programs, it is possible to generate a positive impact on students’ comprehensive development, not only at the disciplinary level but also at the personal and social levels.
