Análisis de los costos de accidentalidad y enfermedad laboral en una compañía metalmecánica en Bogotá

Abstract

The objective of the project was to analyze the costs associated with accidents and occupational diseases in a metalworking company of the city of Bogotá in the years 2016 and 2017. The methodology was developed in four stages, where a bibliographic review of the different existing methodologies was carried out, the accident and occupational disease situation of the company was analyzed, a tool was established to calculate the costs of accidents and occupational disease, and they were determined the most representative costs generated and classified as factors. Finally, a cost-benefit analysis was carried out from the institutional perspective to evaluate the feasibility of implementing preventive measures to reduce the hidden costs generated by accidents and occupational disease.
