Resumen
The present thesis focuses on theater as a tool for social expression and transformation, especially in the field of community development through transdisciplinary artistic creation processes and the development of transmedia tools for the creation and dissemination of artistic, pedagogical, and communicative practices. It highlights the importance of transdisciplinarity in theater, which blurs the boundaries between artistic, pedagogical, and communicative practices, thus enriching its impact on the community. This process corresponds to the work carried out with the Casa Taller Rayuela located in the locality 5 of Usme, where the transdisciplinary creation "Las Aventuras de Júpiter" allowed the exploration of feelings and experiences during the pandemic, promoting reflection on social issues and seeking alternatives to improve the environment amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This process is analyzed within a theoretical framework that includes authors such as Augusto Boal, Paulo Freire, Doris Gutiérrez, and Guillermo Gómez-Muñoz, who have significantly contributed to understanding the importance of transdisciplinarity in theater by proposing techniques that combine art with popular education, psychology, sociology, and participatory action research. Likewise, the thesis focuses on transmedia narratives, as discussed by Scolari, as a process of breaking the fourth wall. In practice, transdisciplinarity and transmediality are manifested through the collaboration between artists and community members, the incorporation of elements from other disciplines, and the addressing of social issues to create spaces for dialogue, reflection, and the search for collective solutions. Among the essential findings is the potentialization of artistic and community expressions, establishing greater participation of social actors.
