Resumen
This paper presents the systematization of the pedagogical experience that emerged from the staging and performance of a carnival troupe in 2024-2025, comprised of children and young people from the Chorrillos I, II, and III rural communities in District 11 (Suba). The systematization of this experience encompassed the process undertaken by participants in various participatory and educational artistic workshops (visual arts, literature, music, dance, and theater) offered by the Nueva Tibabuyes Cultural Corporation “Cultiba” within the “Eidac Children’s School Cultivating Territories” project. This project allowed for the demonstration and transformation, through art, of the perception of unconventional spaces, transforming them into venues for cultural activities and spaces for creation, discussion, consensus-building, and negotiation.
