Resumen
This innovative educational proposal uses an ontology designed to group and organize both ISO 19100 standards and related Colombian technical standards (NTC). The main objective of this initiative is to facilitate students' self-regulated learning regarding the standards governing interoperability and quality of geospatial data. By structuring normative knowledge in a clear and accessible manner through the ontology, the goal is to enable students to explore, understand, and apply these standards independently, thus promoting a more solid and up-to-date education in the field of geographic information. To be able to use the ontology and properly understand its contents, it is essential that students have prior knowledge of cartography, databases, and geographic information systems (GIS). This knowledge will allow them to correctly interpret the concepts, relationships, and structures that comprise the ontology, as well as efficiently manage spatial information and associated data. Without a solid foundation in these areas, understanding and use of the ontology would be limited, hindering its application in geospatial projects and analyses.
