Resumen
The present degree work aims to: Characterize the implications of the AVA knowing the clays of the soil, in the academic performance of the students of Ingeniría Forestal of the Facultad de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.
The AVA is based on the proposal of Briceño and Molina (2010) who made an adaptation to the models of Kemp (1985), ADDIE (1980), Morrison (1994), and Dick (1978).
The research question that was asked was: how to analyze the effect of AVA "knowing the clays of the soil" on academic performance? This led to the development of a methodological proposal in two phases: Phase I. Dedicated to the quasi-experimental study of a non-equivalent control group, with treatment group (AVA application), and control group (non-application of AVA). Both with an initial observation or pretest and a final or postest. Phase II. Approach group design with "pretest-postest". After having finished Phase I, the control group is applied the AVA, and its effect is analyzed, with an initial observation or pretest and a final or postest. Phase III. It studies through analysis of main components, the type variables of learning of control group and treatment, with variables of activities developed in the AVA knowing the clays of the soil.
The results showed in the two phases, that by applying (AVA) (knowing the clays of the soil), the students improved their academic performance. Therefore, the results will be taken into account in the learning space (Soils I), because the applied AVA enriches the Syllabus of the subject Soils one. In the same way, it allowed to identify types of learning in the students, and how these were related to activities typical of the virtual learning environment.
Keywords: AVA, clays, soil, learning.
