Abstract

This paper discusses the problem of air quality, in particular of the PM10 pollutant, which reviews programs and regulations on air pollution control that have been put in place by different governments. Based on the above, the document can be presented as an informative tool in which stipulated guidelines are recognized to start monitoring the contaminant, through this study a series of information is displayed that leads to the response of the realization of questions: how are PM10s formed? What effects do PM10s produces? What is the current status of the Air Quality Surveillance Systems in the country? What is the reference method to follow up on? the PM10? , since regulations must be addressed to obtain maximum permissible limits, that is, the means that must be performed in order to opt for the monitoring and monitoring that complies with the relevant regulations of the pollutant will be obtained in a concise manner and in this sense be able to propose different strategies that allow implementing prevention programs for the welfare of public health affected by sources of PM10 contamination.
