Abstract

This document refers to the construction of the proposal of a methodological structure that aims to reduce the academic dropout of students from private universities, approached from the organizational complexity and the influence that it can apply in the educational system that makes up the universities. Through an analysis of the complexity in the educational system, agents that intervene or should intervene, causes, elements and aspects of the population that drop out can be identified, becoming a key input for the generation of strategies that private universities implement. The construction of the proposal of a methodological structure includes a diagnosis of the population to be analyzed and its environment, subsequently the identification of the factors associated with that population, the construction of the proposal based on organizational complexity and finally the measurement of this through simulation.
