Abstract

The following research project started from the interest in listening to the voices of children, who are often invisibilized and not taken into account in the educational field. The research was conducted in several educational institutions in Bogotá, including the public Distrital Fanny Mikey Educational Institution, the private Bumble Bee Kindergarten, and the private Cambridge Bogotá School. Different concepts were explored in this experience, such as childhood, language, and children's storytelling, which plays a significant role in recognizing the voices and thoughts of children in our society. The family was also considered as a changing social group that contributes to the individual's construction as a social subject, and the bond as a strongly established relationship that humans maintain with their environment.
