Resumen
During the internship carried out at the I.E.D. Colegio Técnico José Félix Restrepo, an educational project was designed and implemented aimed at improving mathematics teaching methodologies in the evening program. This initiative served a diverse population that included adults in basic and secondary education, single mothers, individuals with functional diversity, and students from various socioeconomic backgrounds. The work was developed in an inclusive context, acknowledging and respecting cultural, socioeconomic, gender, ability, and individual experience differences present in the classroom. The project aimed to adapt the curricular content established by the institution to the specific context of this program, focusing on the creation and management of entrepreneurial projects that would allow students to apply mathematical concepts in practical and meaningful situations. This methodology not only reinforced key subject concepts but also encouraged active participation and student empowerment by providing tools to design and manage their own projects. Additionally, it promoted the development of skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking, with the goal of contributing to their academic and professional growth, in alignment with the project-based educational approach that characterizes this institution. This work reaffirms the importance of designing innovative pedagogical strategies that enhance meaningful learning in diverse and challenging contexts.
