Resumen
This paper documents the counseling and accompaniment to the residential complex Americas I, through environmental education for residents in the process that allows them to host the multiuser model established in resolution 352 of Colombian cleaning services government. Strategies were drawn up to carry out the integral management of solid waste and adopt a sustainable model. The purpose was to provide the necessary knowledge to the habitants of the residential complex. Therefore, surveys were carried out to statistically reflect the type of beneficiary population and to target the information in an intelligible way according to the age classification of the community. Moreover, pedagogical strategies were implemented, such as environmental education workshops, which allowed the identification of socio-cultural shortcomings and also propose a new perspective in relation to the problems associated with solid waste. Finally, legal tools were provided to ensure a suitable procedure to host the multi-user model with the cleaning service company Ciudad Limpia
