Resumen
This proposal establishes the creation of the elective course "Industrial Applied Robotics" within the Academic Project of Industrial Mechanical Technology at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. The course strengthens training in automation and control through the integration of robotic systems. It is structured in six thematic modules that combine theory, practice and simulation under the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach. The objective is to provide students with the skills needed to design, program and operate basic robotic cells, meeting the current demand of the local and global manufacturing industry. This document describes the curricular diagnosis, justification, theoretical foundations, design methodology and work schedule, as well as the thematic structure and feasibility of implementation.
