Resumen
The degree work presents a technical, economic and environmental pre-feasibility study for the creation of a company focused on the implementation of rainwater catchment systems for domestic purposes in rural areas, taking as a case study the El Progreso farm, in the Perquirá rural settlement of the municipality of Carmen de Carupa, Cundinamarca. Based on the problem of water scarcity in the region, caused by the lack of aqueduct infrastructure and adverse climatic factors, the development of sustainable solutions is proposed using the Logical Framework methodology. The study includes technical, market and financial analyses, selecting the roof-based rainwater catchment system as the most viable alternative. The results show its positive impact on local water sustainability and its potential as a replicable model in similar rural communities, promoting access to water and sustainable development.
