Resumen
The learning process of the Pythagorean Theorem is always problematic because it is often referred to the enunciation of the same and its algebraic representation, thereby sacrificing its understanding and exploration of other models of representation. For this reason, Geogebra software was proposed as a modeling tool, thus creating four (4) activities which were implemented in the 802 degree of the Afternoon of the Atanasio Girardot IED College, in order to strengthen their learning and also to identify functions that Meets the software in teaching. It was observed that students went from having a vision of a formula (a ^ 2 + b ^ 2 = c ^ 2) to observe a geometric representation of what is immersed there, identifying that this relation is obtained after a comparative analysis of Areas.
