Resumen
ABSTRACT This research seeks to investigate the relationships between the figure of the community artist, art, and Early Childhood, within the framework of the Nidos Program of the District Institute of the Arts (Idartes) of the city of Bogotá. Based on the author's experience in her work as a professional in the Territorial Artistic Accompaniment Team during the years 2018 and 2019, it is analyzed how the role of the community artist emerges and is transformed in the public institutionality of culture, and what incidence it has in the development of children, as well as in their cultural life. The document proposes a transition between the formality of this role in the framework of comprehensive care for early childhood and the experience embodied in those who develop this role, highlighting the relationship that exists between the subject and artistic practice. KEYWORDS: Community artist, Early Childhood, Community art, Vital experiences.
