Resumen
This project seeks to adapt a managerial methodology for identifying, formulating, evaluating, and managing productive projects aimed at persons deprived of liberty (PPL). Tools such as the Logical Framework and Best Practices from Fondo Emprender were evaluated and adapted through a mixed approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative methods. These methodologies, commonly used in the field of entrepreneurship in Colombia, were adjusted for implementation in the penitentiary context, providing a managerial profile that allows them to manage their own projects efficiently.
The study was carried out at the District Men’s Prison and Women’s Annex, working with a sample of 1,051 individuals deprived of liberty, of whom 151 actively participated. The research focused on developing managerial and entrepreneurial skills, providing inmates with tools to foster their economic autonomy and social reintegration.
The results allowed the creation of a practical manual aimed at guiding the prison population in the ideation and planning of productive projects. This manual integrates technical and behavioral concepts that seek to improve their economic autonomy, promoting the participation of both convicted and unionized inmates.
