Abstract

This monograph, entitled “Proposal for a technical-operational plan based on Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce inefficiency in the carbonated beverage production process,” presents a structured approach to optimizing operational efficiency in industrial environments. Through the use of Lean Manufacturing tools, the aim is to identify the root causes of operational downtime, design effective, agile, and sustainable action plans, and encourage work teams to constantly seek continuous improvement. The proposal is developed through a case study in a company in the carbonated beverage sector, which faces challenges related to high levels of inefficiency. It should be noted that this work focuses on the design of the technical-operational plan, without directly implementing it in the plant, but based on the analysis of real data and observations of the process. However, its methodology and the use of versatile tools allow this plan to be adaptable to different business contexts, facilitating process optimization, efficient use of resources, and the strengthening of an organizational culture oriented toward continuous improvement.
