Abstract

The field of culture and politics is still in our days a topic that represents several conflicts that are necessary to approach from the gender perspective, as they have been hardly excluded from there. Talking about political culture will always be a complicated task, mainly because, the concepts tend to be very flexible and can be included in different categories to study, going from the anthropology to the communication studies. Their validity is current and relevant and the field in which is being developed is relatively new; therefore it urges that inside their field of study, the gender perspective, includes this controversial framework. In this brief text, I will try to start some thoughts around the field communication-education and political culture in relation to the current positions about feminist empowerment and the industrial cultures considering the basis in authors such as Jesus Martin Barbero, Ana Maria Ochoa, Martin Hopenhayn, Jorge Huergo, Celia Amorós and Claudia Korol.
