Ítem A mobile app with gamification to boost integrated skills for the VEPTHortua Patiño, César Augusto; Castañeda-Peña, HaroldThe objective of this document is to present the progress of a mobile app prototype that uses gamification and integrated skills and aims to foster the performance of the Test Takers that present the Versant English Placement Test (VEPT). The VEPT is a placement test that is used by different companies around the world to determine the level of the user according to the Common European Framework of Reference. Android Studio has been the software that allowed the technological development of this prototype that was validated with an experiment that used t-tests, linear regression analysis, and semi-structured interviews. The results show that there is a meaningful difference when pre-test and post-test are contrasted in the experimental group; however, there is no meaningful difference when contrasting post-test results in control and experimental groups. Moreover, there were human factors that affected the research; therefore, it is necessary to acknowledge that M-learning is not exonerated from human factors that could affect interest in technological software.Ítem “Actitudes hacia la ciencia y la tecnología: una investigación realizada en la I.E. Colegio Andrés Bello jornada tarde de San José de Cúcuta – Colombia”Fernández Castellanos, Angela; Suárez, Oscar JardeyAttitudes towards science and technology is an investigation that was carried out at the public sector educational institution Andrés Bello School in the city of San José of Cúcuta -Colombia, to students who are between 10 and 14 years old and who They are in the fifth grade of the afternoon, and teachers who work in the same institution but in Primary Basic Education, applying an instrument that was first developed and implemented in the ROSE project and where the objective was to understand the contents and the curriculum of science in different cultural contexts, but which with the passage of time was later adjusted and validated by Vázquez, Á., & Manassero, M. A. (2008) in an investigation with students from Spain. The instrument with which the information was collected is divided into four categories such as the image of science, the image of science but in relation to the environment, science seen from the school environment and teaching science and is made up of 24 statements that are evaluated on a Likert-type scale, with 1 totally disagreeing and 10 totally agreeing. From the results obtained, a contrast is made between students and teachers in order to have an approach to attitudes towards science and technology and thus be able to make future improvements in this field of knowledge from the educational field.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar (ATE) sobre energías limpias, como propuesta didáctica para concientizar acerca del cuidado ambientalSánchez Bareño, Jhurney Edmith; Rodríguez Santana, Sthefania; Garzón Rodriguez, YaquelineWith the development of this proposal, the way in which the tenth grade students of the Chuniza I.E.D. learn the concept of clean and renewable energies for the mitigation of CO2, through the design and development of an ATE, framed in the analysis through experimentation, Therefore, when planning this research project from the areas of Information Technology and Natural Sciences, it is required to guide learning about: a) Global warming, b). Use of clean energy to mitigate environmental impact, and, c) Implementation of vertical gardens with devices that allow self-sufficiency in water resources for CO2 mitigation. Thus, a didactic strategy for classroom work is designed and developed, using as strategies the construction of technological prototypes in terms of design processes, construction and implementation of devices that allow the generation of water and light resources that can meet the needs typical of the fields (irrigation, light intensity, heating, etc.) in vertical gardens, allowing the theoretical contents to be put into practice, encouraging the participation of the entire group of students through the analysis of materials, devices and their relationship with them, reflecting and visibly observing the practical solution to some of the environmental problems raisedÍtem Actividad tecnológica escolar ATE para el desarrollo del pensamiento computacional en un contexto de huerta escolar automatizadaGarzón Basto, Luis Hernando; Bonilla Estévez, Martha Alba; 0000-0002-9694-0325; Bonilla Estévez, Martha Alba [0000-0002-9694-0325]This deepening work carries out an analysis of the development of PC Computational Thinking skills, its importance in technological transformations and contemporary challenges and its usefulness in the educational context, therefore the project proposes through the application of a School Technological Activity ATE in a context of design and construction of an automated school vegetable garden construction with automatic controls for humidity, temperature and light, to promote and strengthen computational thinking skills and abilities in ninth grade students from the Diego Montaña Cuellar school in Usme, welcoming the initiatives of the program "Programming for Boys and Girls - Coding For Kids" and presenting as a relevant pedagogical commitment, the design and construction of an automated school garden with automatic humidity, temperature and lighting controls, as part of the implementation, thus promoting technological solutions to problems of s food security and in turn encourages the development of computational thinking, from the approach of several authors.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar ATE para fomentar las competencias de trabajo en equipo para los aprendices del sector de la construcción en el Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje SENA CATAOrtiz Aponte, Jessika Tatiana; Quintana Ramírez, AntonioThis degree work presents the design of an ATE (School Technological Activity) to promote teamwork skills based on the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology. The design of the ATE was based on the categories that determine teamwork in the educational and productive sectors of which were identified: leadership, motivation, effectiveness and role play, taking into account these factors a sequence of activities was established. aimed at promoting each category together with the BIM model where it is sought to simulate a real interdisciplinary learning environment for apprentices of the construction network according to the role of their training program at the SENA center located in Malaga Santander.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar con enfoque CTS, una alternativa para la construcción social del conocimiento con el uso de aplicaciones móvilesFernández Arévalo, Sandra Carolina; González Hernández, Wilson; Otálora Porras, NelsonThe authors base the proposal on the approach to science, technology and society (STS) and from there, contextualize the subject matter and incorporate the aspects of social constructivism and the use of mobile applications, which is reflected in the school technological activity that they implement and validate in the European Union College IED with the 6th grade students. Specifically, they name characteristic elements of the categories they use, on the one hand, the importance of the STS approach, which recognizes the relevance of using elements of the students' context for the teaching and learning processes to be relevant, and on the other hand, social constructivism allows the construction of knowledge among peers and is strengthened by implementing tools present in the context, so they use in their favor Mobile Applications which potentiate their interactions and the development of the moments raised within the ATE.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar de aprendizaje a través de la construcción para la resolución de conflictosÁlvarez Monsalve, Elisa; González, María Victoria; Ramírez Pardo, PiedadThis research describes the design and application of a School Technology Activity (ATE) for learning through construction. Its objective is to promote the recognition of social contexts that are reconstructed in models by children, together with the experiences that arouse emotions and conflicts that are resolved through different strategies. The implementation was carried out with 25 transition children from Colegio Venecia IED. The results indicate that the activities proposed in the ATE generated interest and motivation for the construction of different scenarios, of which conflicts were identified and resolution strategies were tested through a play.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar de construcción para el fortalecimiento de la comprensión lectora en estudiantes de grado primero del Colegio Paz y EsperanzaCorral Abril, Erika Ivonne; Otálora Porras, NelsonThis work of deepening is a pedagogical and didactic proposal addressed to the first grade of Paz y Esperanza School to strengthen reading comprehension. It presents a reflection on the possible relationships between Technological School Activities (ATE) and reading comprehension processes in the initial cycle, from the transformation of learning processes and language teaching. The objective of the research is to develop a constructivist ATE to promote reading comprehension in first grade children through the reelaboration of a toy with recycled material. This constructivist perspective is based, on the one hand, on the approach of doing and technological knowledge; and on the other hand, on the possibilities of language derived from the physical exchange with recyclable elements that become objects of manipulation, play and knowledge.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar en el contexto del ciclo inicialBejarano Carrión, Dennis Yohana; Otálora Porras, NelsonIt’s relevant reflection about the pedagogic practices that develop in the field of early childhood education, both in the teaching as the learning, it leads to the analysis of diverse actions that are given in the above mentioned context and that are directed to an effective transformation both in the environments and in the ways of approaching the topics, prioritizing experiences that reach to constructing meaning and in turn to strengthen skills both in teachers and in students. For this purpose, there is structured this offer of deepening that departs from the intervention in the context with a technological school activity, with a view to turn into a suitable instrument for applying into diverse areas that involve early childhood education brings for teachers and students to the strengthening of social, cognitive and emotional skills.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar mediada por un objeto virtual de aprendizaje para fortalecer la inteligencia espacial en estudiantes de grado sexto del ITI Centro Don Bosco.Tunjano Bohórquez, Andersson Edier; Atehortúa Torres, William Darío; Otálora Porras, NelsonRecently, technology education has undergone significant changes due to its philosophical conceptions as well as pedagogical and didactic reflections. For this reason, school technological activities, become a tool that improves educational processes in the classroom. At the Instituto Técnico Industrial Centro Don Bosco, the technology area is of great relevance, since it is made up of three subjects and the new sixth grade students present weaknesses because they do not have the necessary previous knowledge to achieve the objectives of the classes. Through this proposal, it was sought that the students of the school through a technological school activity mediated by a Virtual Learning Object, achieve a better development of skills related to spatial intelligence, in which students could conceptualize, represent and interpret the two- dimensional and three-dimensional.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar para el desarrollo de la capacidad de solución de problemas mediante la construcción de un sistema de seguimiento del movimientoHerrera Ortega, Anyi Sthefany; Ramírez Gómez, Jholman Esneyder; Páez Rodríguez, John JairoDesign and validation of a Technological Activities at School (ATE) to strengthen the ability to solve problems, specifically the capacity of abstraction and the use of algorithms in students of the Liceo Mayor de Soacha. The central activity of the ATE is the construction of a motion tracking system of the human body, through the use of inertial unit sensors (IMU) and simulation in the programming software UNITY. The proposal articulates four relevant concepts: cognitive (problem solving and computational thinking), pedagogical (Papert's constructionism), didactic (analysis through construction type ATE) and technological (motion tracking systems - MOCAP). The methodology of the work is of a mixed type, where qualitative and quantitative variables are taken into account. Quantitative measurements are made through the application of pretest and posttest and qualitative measurements through interview and participant observation.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar para el desarrollo de las competencias científicasUmaña Ramírez, José Luis; Quintana Ramírez, AntonioThe research is developed around scientific competences, this report reveals the qualitative research process, where it is demonstrated how the school technological activity (ATE), learning through construction (Quintana, 2015), favors the development of scientific competences. The qualitative research proposes the construction of instruments for the metric and non-metric component, used from the experimental design of Campbell and Stanley (1978) for the non-equivalent control group, as well as from the evaluation of competencies to the validation of the ATE for the teaching physics, data and information are provided to demonstrate how scientific skills are favored in a group of ninth grade students from the San Carlos IED school.Ítem Actividad tecnológica escolar para potenciar el pensamiento espacial a través de la técnica del papercraftBarbosa Paternina, Ludis Andrea; Otálora Porras, NelsonThis deepening work seeks to strengthen spatial thinking in sixth grade students from Educational institution Fe y Alegría La Cima from municipality of Medellin. For this, a technological school activity A.T.E (spanish acronym for actividad tecnológica escolar) was implemented and designed under the approach of analysis through handmade work , which is supported under the pedagogical model of constructivism, and the paper craft technique. The ATE is developed as a strategy to reinforce abilities such as spatial visualization and orientation and spatial relationships, these ones worked through the parpercraft technique that allowed the students to embrace and practice these abilities previously developed. This study was carried out based on the technological deficiencies seen in the focal group in technology classes, this study to be implemented was necessary the use of instruments such as: observation notes, pre-test, measurement tests like Mental Rotations Test (MRT), Purdue spatial visualization test: Rotations (PVST) and Perspective Taking/spatial Orientation Test(PVTSOT), post-test and the Technological program Pepakura. To summarize, this study belongs to a theoretical inquiry that is structured under the main concept of spatial thinking , Papercraft and technological school activity ( A.T.E) and also this inquiry provided the basis for the A.T.E design composed of activities aimed at improving learning processes in sixth grade students.Ítem Actividad Tecnológica Escolar y la autorregulación para el estudio de la ecuación de Bernoulli, en estudiantes de grado 10 de una Institución Educativa Departamental del municipio de Cajicá-CundinamarcaSuárez Salcedo, Marco Fidel; Suárez, Oscar Jardey; Suárez, Oscar Jardey [0000-0001-8780-595X]The document presents the design and implementation of a Technological School Activity, based on active learning, for students in tenth grade of middle school of a Departmental Educational Institution of public character, located in the municipality of Cajicá Cundinamarca. From its implementation, the self-regulation and incidence in the achievement of the learning of Bernoulli's equation is described. The starting point is the problem detected in the IED, regarding the need to articulate knowledge and concepts between the subjects of physics, mathematics and technology, through the exploration of learning environments and strategies, taking into account active learning and technology education, with which it may be possible to articulate concepts in different areas of knowledge in secondary education. The process of inquiry, as a pedagogical methodology, converges in the Technological School Activities (ATE), which strengthen cognitive and metacognitive skills, through didactic strategies that allow the articulation of active learning, with the analysis for construction. From the analysis process, an ATE is designed, validated and implemented for the construction called How do airplanes fly? Regarding the implementation, a pre-test and a post-test are performed, supported by the disciplinary test proposed by Barbosa (2012), to determine the incidence of the ATE, in the achievement of the learning of Bernoulli's equation. Additionally, through the Motivated. Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ), adapted and validated by Suárez and Mora (2016), the relationship between the achievement of learning Bernoulli's equation and self-regulation is described.Ítem Actividades tecnológicas escolares - OrígenesHernández Suárez, Jaime; Otálora Porras, NelsonThis graduation project presents the research findings in which are identified the experiential, institutional and academic referents from which the teachers design the Technological School Activities (TSA). This study follows a case study analysis from the hermeneutical phenomenological methodology, based on the Didactic Content Knowledge - DCK (Shulman, 1987) and articulated with the components and dimensions of the Professional Teaching Knowledge - CPD (Porlán Ariza, R., Rivero García, A. and Martín Del Pozo, R., 1997). All this, as part of the curricular design of the technology and computing area.Ítem Actividades tecnológicas escolares como herramienta pedagógica para la estructuración conceptual en energía solarRojas Martínez, Cristian Camilo; Quintana Ramírez, AntonioUndergraduate work report that aims to indicate the elements of a school technological activity (ATE) that, from the perspective of learning through construction (Quintana, 2015), favors processes of conceptual structuring (Piaget, 1978) in the topic of solar energy in ninth grade students of the Antonio Nariño University College. The assessment of the conceptual structuring as well as the scope of the ATE are validated through a qualitative descriptive interpretative research methodology with a metric and a non-metric approach using concept maps (Ontoria, 2010) and ethnography (Hine , 2004) respectively.Ítem Actividades tecnológicas escolares para desarrollar la competencia comunicativa en la lengua extranjera (inglés)Ospina Romero, Oscar Eduardo; Velásquez Montaño, Diana Carolina; Otálora Porras , NelsonThis research is developed as part of the Master’s program of Technology Education, and documents the implementation of a pedagogical and didactic mediation in eleventh grade students of the Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Technical School in which Technology is integrated with English teaching in an interdisciplinary way. This proposal consists of two School Technological Activities (ATE, Spanish acronym for Actividad Tecnológica Escolar), one based on the Learning Through Construction strategy and the other on the Design strategy, arranged in a B-learning environment under a constructionist model for carrying out practices in educational electronics and programming and design. In all this, the purpose has been to establish how the level of development of Communicative Competence in English is strengthened through the work with ATE. The proposal is based on a mixed research approach within a constructionist methodological framework supported by cooperative learning, which contributes to reflection on pedagogical and didactic methodologies in Technology Education. As a methodological design of the research work, the mixed research approach consists of the simultaneous use of qualitative and quantitative methods, converging dissimilar techniques and positions such as those originating from the historical-hermeneutical paradigm with those of the hypothetical-deductive paradigm. This methodological approach allows to improve the level of understanding of the object of investigation, in accordance with the complexity of educational phenomena. The concurrent triangulation design enables the simultaneous collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. The mediation is carried out with 2 study groups, 12 students from 1101 AS course, and 12 students from 1102 MS course, for a total of 24 participants. To sum up, the research attempts to answer whether there are significant differences in the development of Communicative Competence in English in two groups that work with two different ATE strategies, resulting in the dissimilarities not only depending on the strategy on which the proposal is based, but on other internal and external factors that are expanded in the document.Ítem Actividades tecnológicas escolares y formación de sujetos: significados y relaciones aproximación teórica y prácticaCastiblanco Martínez, Marisol; Muñoz Romero, July Paola; Quintana Ramírez, AntonioThe present research entitled -School Technology Activities and Training of Subjects: Meanings and Relationships - Theoretical and Practical Approach ", arose with the need to establish and interpret the basic meanings and relationships between activities technological processes and the processes of training subjects, from the bibliographic review and the experience with boys and girls of fifth grade of primary school from the implementation of a technological school activity, called "About the cloning of pets ... come and debate" according to the structure of the CTS approach and taking into account the common skills of the critical thinking and deliberative thinking, determined as: participation, argumentation, motivation, defense of points of view, decision making and problem solving.Ítem Actividades tecnológicas escolares: Recursos didácticos para el desarrollo de competencias tecnológicas a través del diseño y construcción de domos geodésicosCorrea Velásquez, Joe Alejandro; Quintana, AntonioThe document presents the result of the research carried out between 2018 and 2019 with the high school students of the Jorge Soto del Corral school, regarding the identification, behaviors and attitudes in the development of a School Technological Activity that, from the heuristics of the regular polyhedrons (Caballero and Ramos, 2012), account for the level of development of the technological skills proposed by the Ministry of National Education (2008), as soon as design methodologies, tools and technical processes immersed in the construction process are incorporated. geodesic domes.Ítem Adolescentes translectores: desarrollo del pensamiento filosófico en la nueva ecología de la comunicación.Naranjo Tovar, Claudia Patricia; Suárez Reina, Adriana YamileTransreading Adolescents: Philosophical Thinking in the New Ecology of Communication" is a research project conducted as part of the Master’s in Educational Technology at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.
