Ítem Desarrollo de la habilidad diseño de experimentos, a partir de la indagación y la realidad aumentada en estudiantes de grado 6° de la IED Escuela Normal Superior de Junín - CundinamarcaGutiérrez Méndez, Christian Camilo; Daza Ardila, Diana del SocorroThe ability to design experiments is part of the well-known scientific skills. It is understood as the ability to test a hypothesis against a considered phenomenon. It is related to the need to solve problems, make decisions and improve inferential observations in everyday life. However, sixth grade students have presented difficulties in the design of experiments (DEx), when they are required to propose an experimental design. Although strategies such as guided inquiry have been used to improve scientific skills, there are few works that enhance DEx and measure the impact of integrating technologies such as augmented reality (AR). This research presents the effects on DEx ability by implementing a structured teaching unit (UDi) with guided inquiry and integrating AR. It was approached from a convergent parallel mixed approach, with a sample of 25 6th grade students from the Escuela Normal Superior de Junín-Cundinamarca, divided into two analysis groups. One group was tested with the UDi only, while the other group interacted with the UDi plus RA. A survey was applied to find out perceptions and pre-test and post-test tests that evaluate the initial state and the progress of the DEx, through the gain obtained. The performance of the students was also qualitatively recorded with a semi-structured interview and the drawing analysis proposed in the pretest and posttest. The findings show that the UDi was useful for most of the students to improve the DEx and there was a greater advance in the group that interacted with the RA.
