Ítem Diseño e Implementación de un Driver para Bombillas Domiciliarias Led con Corrector de Factor de Potencia y Disminución de THDCastro Wilches, Johann Alexis; Henao Peñaranda, Gabriel Alexander; Trujillo Rodriguez, Cesar Leonardo; Narvaez Cubillos, Eider AlexanderThis paper presents a methodology for the design and development of a driver prototype for omnidirectional residential LED bulbs with a minimum power of 7 watios and a maximun power of 14 watios. A study of previous works about LED drivers was made, as well as the most relevant concepts for the prototypes construction and the current regulations for this type of bulbs. In addition, a power quality study for LED bulbs on the market was made showing some flaws when they were comparing with the maximum allowable current harmonic distortion with standard IEC 61000-3-2. Four proposals for PFC and diminution of THD were simulated and the one with best results under simulation was buck-boost topology in boundary conduction mode current controlled. The prototype is built by a step of rectification, a DC-DC converter, a control circuit and an EMI filter. It was designed and built according to simulation chapter. The driver achieved a higher power factor (0.9) and a low current harmonic distortion, less than sixteen percent (16%), meeting the objectives set at the beginning of the project.Ítem Metodología para el Desarrollo de Cálculos en Diseño de Redes Eléctricas Hospitalarias.Rada Palacios, Jhonatan José; Martínez Betancourt, Alexander; Trujillo Rodriguez, Cesar LeonardoDuring the development of an electrical design must have special considerations that seek the optimum operation of the network in addition to the care and protection of people who will use them, so it is important to know the different rules that govern the designs In order to guarantee the full operation, security and reliability that guarantee the integrity of the user. In the particular case of hospital electrical installations, a higher level of reliability and safety should be considered, since it is a hospital where cases can be found where medical equipment fed by the power supply can enter into Direct contact with the patient, a situation that, if not assured, would affect the integrity of the patient. This is how it seeks to streamline the processes of design through a methodology that aims to direct the designer.Ítem Modelo de una turbina eólica de baja potencia para integración a una microrred eléctrica domiciliariaBustos Galeano, Elkin Alexander; Trujillo Rodriguez, Cesar LeonardoAt present, there has been considerable development in the phenomena of human expansion at the technological, industrial and population levels, which has led to greater energy consumption for the supply of operations that are intended to meet goals, and an exponential increase in impacts, which, in the long term, are considered harmful to the environment and human beings in particular when using Conventional Energy Sources (FCE). Due to the increase in price and excess consumption of conventional energy resources, several alternatives have been promoted with the aim of minimizing greenhouse gases, which considerably favors the UN 2030 agenda in which several countries, including Colombia, are in the framework of energy transition to meet the proposed objectives by encouraging the use of Non-Conventional Renewable Energy Sources (NCREF). Under this premise, this monograph describes the behavior of a low power wind turbine and the permanent magnet synchronous generator associated to the wind turbine, based on a mathematical model. To achieve this purpose, a complete model of the wind turbine was developed at software level, which was validated with data from a manufacturer to corroborate its performance and then applied to different wind profiles to observe the behavior of a low power wind turbine.
