Ítem Imaginarios de la población raizal sobre la lengua creole: estudio sociolingüístico en el sector del centro, Sarie Bay y la LomaHenao Manrique, Angie Katherine; Hernández Albornoz, Sindy Naguibe; Guzmán Munar, MargothWith this study, we pretended to identify the imaginaries that has the raizal population about language creole and sociolinguistic phenomena that affected the creation of them. Using the qualitative paradigm of ethnographic Court found the State of multilingualism in the island passed into bilingualism between Spanish and creole, where the first one is more used. This situation provoked thoughts are established dissimilar front language creole, where there are people who conceive it as a symbol of identity and resistance, while there are others who think that it is a dialect of standard English that does not represent them and that little should be used by its little use outside the island. Finally conclude that the majority of people want that strategies are implemented to rescue and preserve the language, but that is a little more than discussion when it comes to thinking about the compulsory teaching of the same
