The coast of the Colombian Pacific although it has a large number of rivers, and is one of the coasts of Colombia where more annual precipitation is recorded, does not have the information and detailed studies of it, which are exploited by the peoples Which inhabit this region of Colombia for its development. That is why in these regions designing a hydraulic structure is very complex, because the information is not there. In Colombia, despite being a country with many bodies of water, there are regions that do not have the IDF (Duration and Frequency Intensity) curves built, which are of vital importance for design and hydraulic construction in a basin. In this sense, without having the IDF (Duration and Frequency Intensity) curves, it is impossible to create an aqueduct that has the quality standards and is durable for this community. As these IDF curves are the ones that allow to predict the calculations of the structure, so that it does not fail when it is put into operation. In some countries such as the United States, Chile, Argentina, among others, the research of the IDF curves have been taken as a priority for the design of this type of hydraulic projects. The adjustment of the IDF curves corresponds to a non-experimental and evaluative investigation, useful for collecting the information processed in the IDEAM. The IDU MD-12 gradation, established as a benchmark granulometric stripe; Was defined based on the importance of the bearing surface within the structure of a pavement and considering that this layer is the most critical, since it is the one that directly receives the humidity, the traffic loads and in general the environmental factors that Directly. We consider that evaluating any other constituent layer of a pavement that is located below the filing folder would not have the same relevance. The study covers the evaluation of compliance with the quality characteristics of the coarse and fine aggregate constituent of each mixture, as well as compliance in terms of adhesion, as stipulated by the IDU-ET-510-11 specification. In the first instance, the combined aggregates without asphalt, the characteristics of cleaning, hardness, durability and geometry were evaluated by applying the tests described in the schedule (table 3 Bitácora). Subsequently the tests were performed on the mixture with asphalt, for which 60-70 asphalt from Barranca was used. At the end of all the programming in ArcGis 10, we extracted the information recorded and obtained, to proceed and make the other calculations for the analysis of the basin and the proper interpretation under the criteria found by the different authors on which we base ourselves in the development of the Project. One of the main sources used is the Basic Guide for the morphometric characterization of hydrographic basins by the authors Aldemar Reyes, Fabián Barroso and Yesid Carvajal, for a good procedure and analysis of each parameter that needs to be analyzed in the basin.
