Una experiencia inmersiva en danza en el Liceo Juan Ramón Jiménez

Abstract

The present work is the report of an internship carried out in the school Liceo Juan Ramón Jiménez, where a subject was taught to young people of 10th and 11th grade with the objective of “what it means to do dance in Bogotá”. The process aimed to involve the participants in dance through practical workshops based on contemporary dance, a creation laboratory process and guided outings to places and events related to dance in Bogotá. The tangible result was a scenic product called Desahogo entre poesía, inspired by the intimacy of the students, as well as reflections on the personal growth of each student. Finally, the development of the internship offered the increase of the expressive reservoir and self-awareness, evidenced by changes in the self-perception of the students, in a physical and psychological sense. In addition, to the increase in group awareness, confidence and empathy.
