Resumen
This project aimed to characterize the acoustic conditions of the classrooms in the Occupational Health, Safety, and Hygiene (OHS) Specialization program at the Francisco José de Caldas District University, Calle 40 campus. The acoustic state of the classrooms was determined and compared with the noise criteria established in the international standard ANSI/ASA S12.2. This document also included the application of the LEST ergonomic method to the physical environment of the teaching workstation, identifying the level of workplace comfort. Furthermore, based on the measurement results, an acoustic improvement option was proposed to mitigate the noise levels observed, providing useful evidence for future studies in the academic environment of the District University
