Análisis interpretativo de cinco bateristas que influenciaron al rock desde sus respectivos subgéneros a través de un tema representativo

Abstract

This document aims to analyze the performance of five representative drummers of Rock through an approach of one of their most emblematic compositions, each drummer symbolizes a different subgenre and decade. The work is divided into five chapters as follows: In the first chapter we can appreciate a brief historical context. Origin and interpreters of Rock´n Roll, along with DJ Fontana´s interpretative analysis of the Jail House Rock theme. To continue in the second chapter, we can appreciate a brief historical context, origin and interpreters of Phychedelic Rock, with the interpretative analysis of Paul McCarteny in the song Come together. Going on with the third chapter we will find a brief historical context, origin of Hard Rock and the song Black Dog song in which an analysis of John Bonham is done. Pursing with the fourth chapter we will find a brief historical context and origin of Fusion Rock in which we will appreciate the interpretative analysis of Stwart Copeland in the theme Message in a Bottle. Finally, in the fifth chapter, we will find a brief historical context, origin in Alternative Rock performers with Dave Grolh´s analysis of Smells like Teen Spirit.
