Resumen
This work is the result of the systematization of experiences of the process carried out with students from Township Soacha. The process of building a garden in the Wetland Neuta is the pedagogical strategy proposed to answer the question: "What are the educational contributions in the process of building a garden as a strategy in the appropriation of Humedal Neuta with children of Antonia Santos Educational Institution? "question that arose after the analysis of the context from which the problem of lack of ownership of land by the inhabitants of the municipality of Soacha is made visible. Environmental education and popular education are the approaches on which this pedagogical work is based, (from these, were designed, proposed work strategies), which seeks to enhance the students' criticality and creativity from understanding and interpretation of the relations of subjects with their social and cultural environment, concepts such as territory, appropriation, subjectivity, garden and nature are presented as categories that allow guide and support this research. One of the most important conclusions which came relates to the implementation of spaces from schools in other areas including non-formal education enables children seen as active citizens with rights and duties, pointing not only to care and environmental conservation also allow modify aspects related to actions that permeate all spheres of life; such as social, political and economic, and thus to question and problematize all these dimensions of everyday life.
