Resumen
This work is the result of activities I initiated decades ago and is an autobiographical exercise, as a carrier, cultor, manager and compiler of llaneras dances at risk of disappearing. It responds to the core problematic artistic heritage and struggles for memory, in the line of research of the cultural studies of the arts, of the Master's Degree in Artistic Studies, of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. It is written resembling the crossing of a cattle farm, and narrated with llanero lexicon, in five moments: I begin with a reflection about Being llanero as protagonist of his manifestations; I continue with the cultural learnings inherited from my llanera family, by oral tradition through my mother, the recognition of the teachers "llaneros facultos", their popular knowers, and the reflection of how these daily experiences generated an interest in me for learning and teaching them; then I register the documentation that I have collected; then I present the information of the different expressions found about the llanera dancística; then I expose the araucanas comparsas, from where I approach the description of "Paloteo de Arauca"; and finally I present the reflections and conclusions of each moment.
