Resumen
The use of ionizing radiation in the medical area implies a risk for the occupationally exposed worker, as well as for the patient and the general public; From this perspective, it is necessary to know the dangers associated with the handling of both radioactive sources and equipment emitting ionizing radiation, as well as the protection mechanisms and the rules for proper handling. Colombian regulations establish the need to provide training for occupationally exposed personnel, however, there is no clarity regarding the times, methodologies and issues that must be addressed. This paper presents the design of a virtual course, whose purpose is to train personnel working in radiodiagnosis centers using information and communication technologies (ICT), as a learning mechanism that facilitates the appropriation of concepts and at the same time access to information of interest to the user. In addition to the design and structure of the virtual course, the steps to be followed to create a virtual classroom will be presented, implementing teaching and learning methodologies supported by the use of the Moodle virtual platform. The virtual course can be found under the name of radiological protection registered in the Moodle platform of the Faculty of Science and Education, curricular project Bachelor in Physics.
